Well...we sure know how to crack jokes at the Bush administration, but lets take a look at the economic things in this cartoon. Opportunity cost first comes to mind. What was given up for the sake of funding the war.
If we take a close look we can see that bridges, roads, schools, and even health care were apparently given up so that the war efforts could continue. What else could we say from this cartoon would be some economic pieces that we can find in this loony toon?
Another issue would be Supply and Demand. Where in this picture would you find supply and demand? Well the demand for money for the war effort and giving tax cuts to the rich seem to appear in there but the supply for money is limited and in these economic times some things just get left to fend for themselves. The demand for new guns seem to be bigger then the demands for new schools and roads and such. So in conclusion......I AM MONKEY JESUS EATING SOUP!!!!!! OO! OO! OOO! AAAH! AAH! AH!
