Flood of frogs shuts down major Greek highway : how is this wrecking greek economy. #1 that which could be earned by those who take that road to work are now not able to. Money products and time lost by this is substantial oppurtunity cost. Frogs are annoying. Frogs really out the "F" in fudge I cant work today!

Man Barricades Himself, Family Inside Hayward Home. Recently in the news a man barricaded himself in his house with his wife and kids. How is this economically benificial? Well lets start with the easy and say that hes saving money by not driving and saving the environment. What he's doing wrong though is he's not benifitting the economy by not working makin or using money. He's actually hurting the economy more by not going anywhere. Help the economy...get a job.

Atherton housekeeper gets 16 months for thefts
a house keeper stole 60000 dollers in stuff and is now in a state prison for 16 months for it. What we have here is a need that couldnt be met. So they resorted ton a diff. method of achieving. An illegal way but a method none the less.

Well...we sure know how to crack jokes at the Bush administration, but lets take a look at the economic things in this cartoon. Opportunity cost first comes to mind. What was given up for the sake of funding the war.

If we take a close look we can see that bridges, roads, schools, and even health care were apparently given up so that the war efforts could continue. What else could we say from this cartoon would be some economic pieces that we can find in this loony toon?

Another issue would be Supply and Demand. Where in this picture would you find supply and demand? Well the demand for money for the war effort and giving tax cuts to the rich seem to appear in there but the supply for money is limited and in these economic times some things just get left to fend for themselves. The demand for new guns seem to be bigger then the demands for new schools and roads and such. So in conclusion......I AM MONKEY JESUS EATING SOUP!!!!!! OO! OO! OOO! AAAH! AAH! AH!
